The Things Children Say

The following is a conversation Emma Kate and I had following her choir practice at church on Wednesday.

Preface - A little boy in choir was having a hard time standing still and paying attention. Both the choir director and music director needed to remind him to behave.

EK - "Mommy, did you see what Paxton was doing?"

Me - "Yes, he was misbehaving."

EK - "I know I shouldn't say this, but he was being rude in God's house."

Me - Smile

EK - "But I know that God still loves him."
