Hanging out in this awesome weather

We haven't been up to much during this long weekend.  Just hanging out . . . .                                                                         
Hanging from rope swings to be specific . . .

The weather has been cool and comfortable in the low 80s.  It is so refreshing after the heat index spent so much time up near 110.

Just after we took these pictures we hooked Millie to the leash and went for a short stroll around the neighborhood.  I remember taking after dinner walks with my parents and sisters when we were kids.  We loved it.

Fall is in the air and this is the first time this "summer girl" can honestly say I'm looking foward to it.  School has gotten off to a great start, we have 2 family reunions coming up in the next 2 months, some camping weekends planned and another birthday party to plan for one soon-to-be 3 year old.

But during this Labor day weekend we are taking a break from the laboring and just hanging out.
